The visiting team was completely defeated on the third day of this Test match played in Ahmedabad. In this match, neither the batting nor the bowling could perform well against the West Indies. Three players from Team India scored centuries, while the West Indies batsmen managed only one half-century.
They could not stand up to the Indian bowlers and suffered an innings and 140-run defeat in this Test match.

In the second innings, Ravindra Jadeja took the most wickets with four, followed by Mohammed Siraj with three, Kuldeep Yadav with two, and Washington Sundar with one.

IND vs WI: Ravindra Jadeja performed brilliantly with both bat and ball in this Test match. First, he scored an unbeaten century of 104 runs and then took four wickets to quickly dismiss the West Indies in the second innings. Jadeja was declared Player of the Match.

India leads the two-Test series 1-0.

The second Test will be played in Delhi on October 10.
